WPA and WPA2 Enterprise WiFi Connection Issue
Recently I tried to connect to my Wi Fi connection in the office after installing 14.04 LTS. Surprisingly it was not connecting even though my settings were all correct. So I ran into some bug tracks and found out why it is
When WPA & WPA2 PEAP are not using the Certificates it is not working correctly in 14.04.
There is a line in the Wi Fi configuration files that are located in the folder
/etc/NetworkManager/system-connections
First of all list out all the connections you have and vim or gedit the one you need to use. If it is a fresh install you won’t have vim installed so use gedit
cd /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections ls sudo gedit ConnectionName
Afterwards, remove the line containing
system-ca-cert=true
